The Jennifer Watkins soap opera is lathering up again in court, with a judge declaring she’s guilty of neglect in the case of her now nine year old daughter, Sidney.
The SJ-R reports a Cass County circuit judge will revisit it all on January 20-th, leaving open the possibility of a mother and child reunion. Judge Bob Hardwick says keeping little Sidney away from her paternal grandparents – including moving out of state – for six years is neglect. Now, the paper says, Dale and Penny Watkins are getting time with her and loving it.
Sidney’s dad, Steven Watkins was fatally shot in 2008 when he was picking up Sidney for a visit. Jennifer Watkins’ grandmother, Shriley Skinner, is serving prison time for the fatal shooting.
