A Springfield man has pleaded guilty to the March 2017 beating death of his 2-month-old son.

24-year-old Eric Cutler pled guilty in Sangamon County Court on 1st degree murder charges.

The infant died as a result of blunt force trauma. Cutler’s sentencing is scheduled for July 1st. He faces 20-100 years in prison.
