Visit Springfield launches Summer Photo Contest

Visit Springfield is ready to see our city through the eyes, or rather the camera lens of visitors and residents this summer!  June 1 through August 31, 2023, Visit Springfield is encouraging visitors and locals alike to show them your best images of Springfield.  The 2023 #SNAPSPRINGFIELD photo contest is intended to capture additional user generated content, UGC, for marketing of the city through photos of people enjoying sites, attractions and special events & festivals this summer.

What you need to know –

  • Submissions for the photo contest will be accepted now through August 31, 2023
  • Submissions can be easily uploaded to a CrowdRiff online collector portal, click here to learn more https://visitspringfieldillinois.com/Landing/SnapSpringfield.aspx
  • There are six categories of focus –Eat + Drink, People Centric, Outdoors, Sites + Attractions, Springfield Events and Short Form Video

  • Contest winners – There will be one overall 1st place winner chosen who will receive a $100 Visa gift card and there will be one a winner in each category who will receive a $25 Visa gift card.
  • There is no limit on individual entries, visitors and residents are welcome to submit multiple photos in multiple categories! All submitted photos will potentially be featured in Visit Springfield’s digital and print marketing materials.

Springfield is full of one-of-a-kind historic sites, endless Route 66 nostalgia, delicious eats and drinks, world-renowned entertainment and more! With so much to do, you’ll want to document everything to remember those special moments forever.
