Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – This week, Crime Stoppers is seeking information to help the Springfield Police Department identify an individual involved in a retail theft.
On July 12th, 2026, a black female, wearing a blue shirt and shorts, entered Walmart, located at 2760 N Dirksen Parkway in Springfield, and selected a large amount of merchandise. The suspect placed the merchandise in a cart while walking through the store. After gathering the items, the suspect exited the business without paying for the merchandise and fled the scene.
