Inductees will be honored during the IBCA Hall of Fame banquet May 2, 2026, at the Citizens Equity First Credit Union (CEFCU) Arena at Illinois State University.

Jones, who is also a professor of exercise science at LLCC, has been coaching the Loggers since 2001, and has accumulated 427 career victories. “It’s an honor to be recognized, alongside some of the best coaches in the state,” said Jones in a recent press release. “This achievement reflects the hard work and commitment of our players, staff and the entire LLCC community. I’m proud of what we’ve built together and excited for what’s ahead.”

“Jones’ success speaks volumes about his dedication and the hard work of the team he has shaped,” LLCC Athletics Director, Diana Couch, said also in a press release, “His leadership has elevated our program to new heights, and this Hall of Fame honor is a well-deserved testament to his impact on student athletes and the sport of basketball.”
