Meet Percy — APL Dog of the Week

Meet Percy — APL Dog of the Week

Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – Percy is a bright, energetic young dog with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging! He’s happiest when he’s chasing a ball in a game of fetch or spending time with his favorite humans. This playful boy is house-trained and mostly crate-trained, making him a great companion for someone ready to keep up with his fun-loving spirit.

In playgroup, Percy does well with most dogs—he enjoys some canine company but appreciates getting to know new friends at his own pace. If you already have a dog at home, we’d be happy to set up a meet and greet to make sure everyone gets along.

Percy would thrive in an active home where he can get plenty of exercise, attention, and love. If you’re looking for a loyal, goofy, and affectionate friend, Percy might just be your perfect match!

Contact the Animal Protective League for more details, and learn how to adopt!
