SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – Our Friends of Sangamon County Animal Control Dog of the Week is a very nice girl who has been in her foster home a very long time.
Zina was surrendered by her owner over a year ago. At that time she may have been a lot to handle. She’s been in her foster home for 15 months now and has calmed down a lot. Her foster dad says she has good inside and outside manners and she’s very affectionate and loves to snuggle. We recently spent a few hours at an outdoor adoption event and Zina was friendly to everyone she met.
This very good girl is ready to find her forever family. If you would like to meet Zina, please call Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center at 217-535-3065 to arrange a meet and greet. If you would like to meet our other adoptable dogs visit us during shelter hours Monday-Friday 10:30-4:15 and Saturday 9:00-1:00. 2100 Shale St., Springfield IL.
