One shot, one arrested, Saturday night in Springfield

Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – We’re just now learning about a shooting in Springfield that occurred four days ago.

Springfield Police say it happened around 10:30 Saturday night in the 1700 block of South Pasfield, near the intersection of Pasfield and Laurel.

A man with a gunshot wound was taken to Springfield Memorial Hospital, but police say injuries are not-life-threatening.

Another man was taken into custody, having been identified as involved, but his name wasn’t released.  It’s not clear what charges, if any, the man may face.

Police say anyone with information should call Springfield Police, or Sangamon and Menard County Crime Stoppers.
