(CAPITOL CITY NOW) – Gov. JB Pritzker spent some time Thursday talking about Minnesota.

At an unrelated event in Joliet, Pritzker said Renee Good, the woman killed by an ICE agent Wednesday, posed no threat. “I encourage you all to go watch the video for yourselves. It is harrowing. It is unimaginable to think that this can happen in our country; or, that when it does happen, the government immediately tries to cover it up.”

Pritzker said instead of investigating what happened, members of the Trump administration “ran to Fox News.” He added that it’s time for Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem to go. In fact. U.S. Rep. Robin Kelly (D-Matteson) said she would file articles of impeachment against Noem.

On another matter from the Land of 10,000 Lakes, Pritzker said there is no indication the federal government has detected the kind of grant fraud which has led to Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz ending his re-election campaign. “There is no specific allegation of any fraud against the state of Illinois,” said Pritzker. “There has been no investigation that the federal government has yielded some evidence to come forward about any of it.”
