Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – Saturday, April 11, a trivia night returns to the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum (ALPLM).

Tickets start at $150 per team of ten, or individual $15.

“The money is raised for our Team Lincoln membership,” said Joe Crain, ALPLM.  “It’s the program that raises money for all of the special projects initiatives that are beyond our regular operating budget. So it’s a chance to help keep the spark going of the ALPLM.”

What is something we can expect at this event? What are the questions going to be like?

“We’ll sprinkle in some Lincoln, we’ll sprinkle in a little Civil War, we’ll sprinkle a little Illinois history because we’re the successor to the former Illinois State Historic Library,” said Crain.  “We’ll have a lot of pop culture in there.  We’ll have music, movies, TV, music…because we did the state of sound exhibit about four years ago. So, we’ll bring some Illinois music questions into it. So, it’s going to be a lot of fun. We’ll have a cash bar, we’ll have complimentary snacks available.”
